What a Ride!

Hey Everyone,
First, thanks so much to all of you for the support and excitement about our game! We ended the campaign at a grand total of $98,893.
We came so close to the $100,000 stretch goal. We want mounted boards as much if not more than you do, and ultimately we are the ones who decide whether to unlock them or not, so we decided to unlock them. We anticipate covering the gap with late pledges and adjustments in the Pledge Manager so we are comfortable including them in the game at this time.
What’s next? We have a two-week period of waiting for the funds from Kickstarter to come through which we will be using to finalize our files and make sure everything is prepped and ready to go.
Once the funding arrives we will sort out our initial payment to Panda which will start the process of producing our Pre Production Copy, basically the first copy off the presses. The PPC will be shipped to us for close inspection before we give the ok to start the full production run.
While this is going on we will be in touch with updates on the first of each month to keep everyone in the loop on how things are going.
Thanks again to all of you for being a part of this dream of ours,
Kevin, Jacob, Tim, and Nicole
Quick update on domestic US shipping (AK, HI, PR)
– Wed, Sep 27, 2023 at 07:35:52 AM
Hello, we just wanted to get a quick update out for anyone in Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico before the campaign closes. Working with fulfillment partners means we don’t have a lot of control over which package services are used or how shipping to specific areas is handled. We understand that the higher shipping prices for Alaska and Hawaii in particular are upsetting especially when the USPS offers flat rate shipping to those areas. What we can do is offer an alternative for people in those remote areas. In the pledge manager anyone in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico will have the option of receiving their games directly from us through the USPS flat rate system. This will put your shipping charges in line with the rest of the domestic US but at the small trade-off of your packages shipping once the rest of the region is complete and the remaining games have been delivered to us. We will have the boxes ready to pack and ship out the day we receive our remaining games. We won’t post the game for sale on our website until all packages have been shipped so you will still be receiving them before any retail customers.
Again, thank you for your support! 36 hours remain and this is all very exciting!

IvoryCore cards unlocked and into the final week!

We have unlocked IvoryCore cardstock at $75,000! Thanks to everyone who has pledged so far. We’re so excited to start the final week with this momentum.
Mounted boards are next, and we know a lot of people are excited to hit that one. It looks like it might be close! Help us get there: tell a friend about the campaign’s final week and help us spread the word.
We also wanted to update on our approach to tile trays. At this time we don’t have a clear idea of the timeline for prototyping the trays we want so we will not be joining tray production with the production of the game itself. There’s too much risk in delaying the production that we aren’t willing to take. That being said, we are still pursuing trays as a supplemental item in parallel with the game so if the production happens to work out we can still offer it as an option either as part of fulfillment (best case), or with friendly shipping through our fulfillment partners after the campaign.
We’ve updated the rulebook PDF with our most recent clarifications and formatted it as single pages instead of spreads. Take a look.
Finally, one of our playtesters posted a short text review on BGG you can check out: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/3149660/playtester-review
Thanks so much for your support,

First Stretch Goal reached! Gauging interest in tile trays.

We’ve reached the first stretch goal at $60,000, now every game box will have the logos and border details stamped in gold foil! We always envisioned the box having some shimmer to it, we just couldn’t fit it in our base funding budget. Thanks to all of you it will be just like we imagined!
Help us reach our next stretch goal by telling your friends about this game! When we hit $75k, we’ll upgrade to ivory core premium card stock for all cards in the box. You can help us hit it by sharing on social, email your gaming group, or see if someone near you wants to split a two-pack to save on shipping.
Looking ahead:
An update on tile trays. We’ve been busy exploring options from 3rd parties and also in-house solutions at Panda. At the moment we would like to gauge interest in a set of plastic trays designed to hold and display all track tiles in the game.
This set of trays would be an add-on in the pledge manager and would come in its own tuckbox outside of the base game, once the game is punched they should fit in the box, possibly with a small amount of lid lift. During fulfillment they would be packaged together for shipping. We’ll be reaching out to our fulfillment partners when we know more about weight and dimensions. If it looks like pursuing this add-on will delay our production timeline we can look at options for post-campaign sale of the trays as an individual item.
If you’re interested in tile trays as an option, like or comment on this update to let us know.
Shipping Rates - We’ve updated our shipping table to show estimated rates for the two-pack pledge in the areas that were TBD.
As always, thanks for your support!
We’re Fully Funded and so excited to get this game produced and in your hands!

We have officially made it to our funding goal! $50,000 was nothing to sneeze at, and we’ve still got a ways to go on the campaign timeline! We’re looking forward to more discussions about the game and hopefully unlocking a few stretch goals in the coming weeks.
Wow. Thank you for supporting and spreading the word. You made this happen!
In more good news, we were selected as a ”Project We Love” by Kickstarter which will give us a little more exposure to people who browse, but maybe haven’t caught sight of the game yet.
As far as developments based on feedback we’ve gotten so far we want to touch on two things:
Although we won’t be able to coordinate tile trays to be included in this campaign, we have reached out to two companies that produce trays and other storage solutions for games to see what kind of arrangements can be made. These would be either for post campaign 3rd party options we can connect people to, or for items we can sell on our own website. We’ll keep you all updated on any developments in this area.
Also, the solo mode is being worked on! Kevin posted a thread in our BGG forums for anyone who wants to follow development, provide feedback, or even playtest as we go (TableTop Simulator being the main option). He’ll keep plugging away at it in the background and posting updates with new developments.
As always, thanks so much for your support.
